What the current register says
The Gaming Commission of Ghana’s licensed-operator register lists BETIKA for Online Sports Betting and Online Casino. Both entries show issue date 1 January 2026 and expiry date 31 December 2026. We checked the register on 20 October 2026. This supports the specific activity labels and dates shown on that page; it does not guarantee renewal after expiry, describe all terms, or prove that each product is available in every account. Recheck the live register before relying on it.
The register uses the trade name BETIKA and names operation types. It does not provide a complete consumer guide to account disputes, payment timing or game rules. For those matters, use the applicable operator terms and keep a copy of the exact version shown when you act.
Ghana’s gaming and lottery frameworks
The Gaming Commission publishes the Gaming Act, 2006 (Act 721) and licensed operator records. The National Lottery Authority separately describes its mandate under the National Lotto Act, 2006 (Act 722), including National Weekly Lotto and its 5/90 products. These distinctions matter: the fact that an operator appears in a sports betting and online casino register does not mean it runs National Lotto or a licensed bingo service.

How to verify a listing
Open the Gaming Commission’s own licensed-operator page and search the exact trade name. Check the operation type and date range, then confirm that the page is current. A company name, brand name, marketing page or old certificate screenshot is not a substitute for a current official entry.
Keep activity types separate. A listing for sports betting should not be generalized to casino; an online casino listing should not be generalized to National Lotto, bingo or every game supplier. Our review does not claim additional permissions beyond the rows the Commission publishes.
Scope and limitations
This independent guide uses the Commission register, official Ghana statutes and NLA pages as public evidence. We did not obtain a private licence certificate, contact the Commission, or ask Betika for a legal opinion. We also did not create an account or test an operator service.
